Tutorial App : Audacity

Hey Guys! It's been almost 2 weeks since my last post,because i've been doing my mid term exam. So for today's topic i'm going to show you a tutorial about audio editing application called Audacity. Audacity is an application for PC which available for Windows, Mac, GNU/Linux and other operating System. It's a free application that you can download it from download.cnet.com.

Audacity can be used for post-processing of all types of audio, including podcasts by adding effects such as normalization, trimming, and fading in and out. Enough with the chip chap, i'm just going to show you how i turn this :

To start off, we need to open Audacity application first.

Then, drag any audio files that you want to edit to the app

Next, before adding some effets in the audio, dispose the unnecessary parts by blocking the audio that you want to dispose and delete it.

After you got the perfect audio, you can add an effect (this is optional) based on your preference. First, you just need to block the area that you want to add an effect with, then click effect > Equalization > click on walkie talkie then click OK. You can click preview to hear what it sounded like with effect.

Then, you can block the other parts that you wanted to edit, and click effect > wahwah. In the wahwah section you can customize the depth, LFO Frequency and other that would match your preference.

That's it, you're done! For saving the audio file jus click file > export, and you can choose the format of the audio that you just edit.
